Manifesto

Executive summary

Trenchrun is a cinematic open-world 3D game and on-chain ecosystem built around one central transformation: an average operator rises from the trench, survives the city, and reaches the shore.

The project combines 3D idle action gameplay, open-world district exploration, a lore-driven three-epoch progression arc, land and plot reservations, player-owned economy layers, NFT achievements, guild systems, staking mechanics, and community-first social expansion with anti-bot and anti-mercenary economic design.

Arc

Three Stories - Different Characters - Unique gameplay in each epoch

I

Epoch IThe trench

Ruzgodostok · Endurance

Poor, unknown, disciplined, grinding

The player begins with nothing but observation, repetition, and the discipline to continue after failure. The trench represents early losses, scarcity, manual grind, invisible learning, hostile systems, cold environments, and low-status survival. Reputation is earned in the mud long before anyone is watching.

Gameplay mechanics

  • Resource gathering loops
  • Early missions and tutorials
  • Industrial jobs and shift work
  • Faction intros and reputation
  • Low-tier boss encounters
  • Survival upkeep and scarcity
  • Crafting gear and recipes
  • Achievement badge tracks
  • World pacing and milestones
  • Solo drills and social hooks

The trench does not forgive. It filters.

II

Epoch IIThe city

Crank City · Pressure

Connected, alert, reputation-driven, tactical

Capital does not remain in the bunker. Once the player earns skill, they enter a city where every person is a possible source of information, threat, liquidity, or opportunity. Crank City represents financial paranoia, social leverage, market rumor, ledger analysis, alliance-building, hidden doors, urban noise, and digital pressure.

Gameplay mechanics

  • Social missions and contacts
  • Guild formation and rosters
  • Marketplace buys and sells
  • City reputation and access
  • Faction permits and gates
  • Network quests and intel
  • Trading desks and liquidity
  • Higher-risk PvE and PvP
  • Urban raids and escalations
  • Crew metas and counters

Information is power. Patterns are advantage.

III

Epoch IIIThe shore

Island of the Golden Whale · Desire

Wealth-builder, landholder, operator, dealmaker

The player reaches the island not as a tourist but as someone who survived the trench and earned the right to sit at the table. Golden Whale represents ownership, access, capital networks, late-game districts, prestige plots, social hierarchy, event venues, and high-value player economy.

Gameplay mechanics

  • Land plots and utility perks
  • Venue revenue and ownership
  • Storefronts and listings
  • Guild ops at island scale
  • Airport and event onboarding
  • Prestige drops and cosmetics
  • Token sinks and treasuries
  • Marketplace volume events
  • Endgame missions and raids
  • Late-game deals and leverage

Freedom is not a destination. It is a lifestyle you build.

Systems

Core gameplay & mechanics

Trenchrun is designed as a hybrid progression experience combining story-driven survival RPG systems, open-world exploration, economic simulation, side hustles, criminal/legal risk systems, idle management, social advancement, PvE/PvP progression, and NFT-based endgame ownership.

You do not begin powerful. You build power through survival.

Survival & ascent

Players must survive increasingly hostile environments while balancing food, rent, bills, equipment, faction threats, police pressure, physical survival, resource scarcity, and reputation growth.

  • Mandatory day jobs · Industrial labor · Factory shifts · Courier work · Warehouse operations
  • Underground contracts · Scavenging · Side hustles · Black market flips · Resource gathering
  • Crafting · Combat · Exploration · Mining rigs · Intelligence gathering

To progress, players must manage housing costs, utilities, operational expenses, law enforcement heat, health, fatigue, and market volatility. The game creates constant tension between immediate survival vs long-term advancement.

Day jobs by epoch

Epoch I — TrenchEpoch II — CityEpoch III — Shore
  • Factory worker
  • Machine operator
  • Rail yard loader
  • Scrap sorter
  • Trench courier
  • State contractor
  • Delivery runner
  • Market analyst asst.
  • Warehouse broker
  • Cyber repair tech
  • Transit operator
  • Logistics runner
  • Venue manager
  • Airport logistics
  • Marina broker
  • Investment asst.
  • Hospitality operator
  • Private security

Day jobs provide baseline income, survival continuity, faction access, local intelligence, skill development, and side mission opportunities.

Side hustles & idle systems

Side hustles are where real advancement begins. These systems create flexibility, risk, and player expression.

  • Mining rigs · Black market trading · Contraband logistics · Data flipping · Crypto arbitrage
  • Underground courier jobs · Guild contracts · Crafting rare items · Salvage operations
  • Intelligence gathering · Club networking · Venue deals

Epoch II · Crank City only

Urban illicit side hustles

These hustle types are gated to the city epoch — not available in the trench or on the shore arc.

  • Grow plants, cook product, and spin up whatever grey-market illegal hustle fits your build — labs, kitchens, and contraband chemistry with escalating heat.
  • Loan sharking — street lending, vig collection, and defaults that draw cops and rivals.
  • More illicit lanes unlock as reputation, turf, and faction tolerance rise.

Mining rig system

A major idle system allows players to build and operate in-game mining infrastructure. Features include GPU upgrades, power management, cooling systems, location risk, police raids, maintenance costs, bill pressure, passive token/resource generation, security upgrades, and expansion tiers.

Mining rigs become one of the first major wealth multipliers. However: electricity bills increase, law enforcement may investigate, theft becomes possible, and rival factions may sabotage operations. This creates meaningful idle gameplay instead of passive inflation.

Minigame matrix

SurvivalMachine repair · Smuggling routes · Lock bypassing · Car Theft · Trench scavenging · Industrial calibration · Delivery
StrategyChart pattern recognition · Logistics balancing · Market timing · Negotiation · Property upgrades · Social infiltration
PrestigeInvestor networking · Private poker · Yacht · Venue management · Trade contracts · Car-Fleet Management

These systems reward precision, repetition, pattern recognition, timing, and knowledge.

Friction

Opposition & progression

Law enforcement / state pressure

Throughout progression, players face escalating enforcement systems. The world should actively resist player growth.

  • Police raids · Inspections · Asset seizures · Contraband investigations
  • Cybercrime monitoring · Tax audits · District surveillance · Faction crackdowns

Player responses

Bribes · Stealth · Relocation · Forged permits · Underground alliances · Security upgrades · Heat reduction missions

The goal is to maintain constant friction. Every major advancement creates new pressure.

Rival factions

  • Cabal Teams
  • City syndicates
  • Surveillance networks
  • Corrupt officials
  • Corporate predators
  • Whale cartels

Faction interactions include sabotage, theft, territorial conflict, political alliances, blackmail, and market manipulation.

Lore spine

Storyline & narrative

Born in the trenches

The player begins with little to no capital in Ruzgodostok. They must survive poverty, work state jobs, avoid collapse, learn systems, build first side income, discover underground opportunity, defeat trench bosses, and establish first reputation.

The world does not care if you survive. Survival is your first victory.

City of information

The player enters Crank City with basic resources but limited influence. They must build networks, scale side hustles, exploit information, navigate corruption, survive surveillance, establish businesses, form alliances, and manipulate systems.

In the city, strength is not enough. You must know before others know.

The golden shore

The player reaches the Island of the Golden Whale. They now compete among elites. Goals include land ownership, luxury operations, investor access, prestige asset control, political positioning, rare item creation, marketplace domination, and long-term empire building.

Freedom was never given. It was constructed through survival.

Scarcity layer

Item burn & NFT forging

Unique items gain real scarcity through burn mechanics. Players may combine or sacrifice legendary equipment, rare resources, boss drops, prestige assets, and event items to create NFT artifacts, cosmetic trophies, district titles, guild relics, and marketplace collectibles.

NFTs may be traded, sold, auctioned, showcased, guild-owned, and used for prestige. Marketplace target: Solana-native trading, player economy integration, seasonal scarcity cycles.

NFTs should represent real accomplishments, scarcity, social proof, and ecosystem identity — not generic speculative assets.
